Lemon thoughts

As it gets warmer and warmer in Sydney, im looking forward to introducing some lemon into our home, perhaps in the form of flowers, a candle, maybe a little decorative piece or even some lemon themed cupcakes. Just little things that warm my heart! Kellie xx

Our place...

I just adore our black and white striped rug! It makes our colours look even more brighter! Makes me happy every time I walk past it! Here are some cute pictures of the two girls, no reason, just because! Kellie xx

Colour = Happiness!

Feeling a little under the weather tonight.... I thought perhaps some brights on glorious whites would make me feel a bit better! Hope you are having a beautiful week everyone. Kellie xx

Prints, fashion and colour

It's quite a divine combination isn't it, turquoise, orange, white with a tad of a brown animal print. I must say, it isn't something I would tend to do for myself but it appeals to me nonetheless!

Colourful pleasure

Such a simple image but to me, represents a perfect picture. Colour and prints are so important to me in a room, no matter whether it's indoors or outdoors. The kind that make you look and think springtime all year round. Kellie X

Ideas and more ideas

Kate and I are busy planning ideas for a job for a client. They are looking for classic furniture pieces to be teamed up with colourful accessories, wallpaper and fabrics. Love sourcing ideas and looking for inspiration.

A bright and fabulous living space

What a stunning, pretty space. Being a colour girl, pink being an absolute favourite, this living space really appeals to all my senses. The lovely green works so well too, such a winner on pink and white! Have a beautiful Sunday everyone! Kellie xx

Red trim - a winner!

I tend to never be drawn to red in interiors. I a bit the same with clothing as well, like it on others, just not for me. I think it's to do with me having blonde hair or something silly like that. I did however adore the red in this delightful outdoor space. The red trim on seating look amazing, especially teamed up with the black, high gloss cane. There is still hope for me and red to develop a strong, long term relationship! Kellie xx

A new painting itch...

I have an itch. That itch is to paint our dining room table. Something bright and bold. Perhaps turquoise. I found this inspiration as examples of how gorgeous paint can look and how it can transform a piece of furniture. Now to convince the husband this would a fabulous thing for him to do for me... Wish me the best of luck! Kellie xx

A trivial point of view...

What a divine image! That turquoise works so well with the lemon. It's funny, I much prefer 'lemon' over yellow... Despite the fact my husband would argue they are exactly the same! Kind of like 'tangerine' and orange! Ah the trivialities of colour and prettiness. Have a lovely Sunday everyone. Kellie xx

Stripes, flowers and white

What a beautiful kitchen! One day Luke and I will move away from the city, I will have a gorgeous little cottage and lots of space to play with flowers. A wonderful dream! Kellie xx

A colourful favourite

I had a quick look through Lonny last night and it looks like a gorgeous issue - so looking forward to going through it more closely over the weekend! I did however spot this interior, that I have to say, is my absolute favourite. Pattern on pattern and colour galore - magic, just magic. Kellie xx

Yellow and pink and an hour of bliss

The sun is shining this morning, even (according to weather reports) if it's only for just a little itsy bitsy amount of time... Rain and crazy wind is on it's way... Time to read the paper and sit outside with a cup of tea.

That gorgeous yellow and splash of pink is perfect for this morning. Such a darling bedroom! Kellie xx

Ps. For all my lovely Sydney readers we ate at Red Lantern (Vietnamese in Surry Hills) last night and the food was just delightful! We ordered the banquet and were not disappointed. And they had my favourite David Hook wine on the wine list - always a winner in my book. xxx
