Mirrored love

I saw this bedroom and the first thing I noticed was the gorgeous, mirrored furniture! Still not over it, I would really, really love a mirrored desk, but knowing me, that would be a recipe for disaster! Kellie xx

Prints, fashion and colour

It's quite a divine combination isn't it, turquoise, orange, white with a tad of a brown animal print. I must say, it isn't something I would tend to do for myself but it appeals to me nonetheless!

I do adore the combination of turquoise and pink. It eludes happiness and femininity to me as well as a feeling of freshness and fun. I do quite like lemon in there is well. An absolute personal favourite. x

What a gorgeous bedroom. I can't help but admire that stunning bed linen, headboard and gorgeous blooms. Of course, what I most adored was the stunning fabric on that table, familiar? Yep, it's the same one that i'll be using on my antique chair {here}! It's divine in this colour too isn't it... Kellie xx

Meeting half way...

I am working on a little project for a client who's husband LOVES green! I have to say I don't mind a mint green but olive green is a colour I find a little harder to work into the home. I thought this was a gorgeous inspiration of working with green and mixing it in with some gorgeous purples, pinks and white. This sort of inspiration will meet the wife with the husband half way! Classical elegance today

Monday morning is here and what I need to get me kickstarted for the week is a beautiful, soft, calm room with delightful fashion to match. Something bright and bold wasn't quite right today.

I have been telling Luke in our next home there are three things that are a must (that would most certainly be in the home of this lovely room featured):

1. Original timber floorboards

2. Original ceilings

3. Original fireplace

I always love looking at the fabulous Peter Breese's art. I mostly adore their effortless style and fashion flavour. Each oooze femininity and simplicity that is a testament to his blessed skill. Art like this is the type of thing I don't think you could teach someone, sure you could learn the basics and the technical aspects but that true ability comes from within.

Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with this kind of skills or any artistic skill with a paint brush that is. Still a girl can admire the skill of others like Peter Breese can't she!? Kellie xx

See, this is the perfect example that black standard folders can look pretty damn stylish with the right decor around them (see second picture)! What a fabulous office space though. Surely only the most creative of ideas would come out of here!
