Relaxed and revived...

I am back from my mini holiday with Kate! It was a beautiful weekend.... We had some fantastic wine (we bought lots), had some beautiful meals (the best fish and chips i have had in ages) and saw lots of beautiful, amazing things! The highlight was the most divine breakfast, the owner Carol at Thistle Hill cooked beautiful cakes and poached fruit each morning and as you can see in some of my pics the decor there is gorgeous! Just so lovely..... Here are just a few picturess of the weekend, hope you enjoy. Kellie xx

 

 

 

1. Myself in the vineyards (unfortunately this was the only one that hadn't quite lost all its leaves for winter).

2. The gorgeous chairs and fabric on the outdoor seating. 

3. Our of our beautiful and elegant rooms. Perfect for relaxing after cheese and wine tasting!

4. The beautiful breakfast room and divine breakfast - fresh each morning and served so beautifully. The room looked out over vineyards and a dam.

6. Some of our wine purchased. Wine and a beautiful candle, with cheese and crackers - yum!!

7. Some of Kate's jewellery hanging up on a plate and also on this beautiful rustic mirror in our room.

8. The lovely decor at Leaves and Fishes restaurant where i had the most amazing fish and chips!

I am heading off to the Hunter Valley tomorrow with my best friend Kate for a fabulous weekend away. I am hoping for a glamourous weekend of wine, lovely food and lots of laughs. A darling to the eye

Don't you think these photographs ooze beautiful decor, inviting lighting and romantic use of flowers? Sometimes it takes me so long to put a post together, I need my selection of images to evoke the right feelings in me and must reflect one part (no matter how small) of my true style. And of course be a darling to my own eyes.

What sort of things do you look for in a photograph to make it your darling?? I would love to know that i'm not the only one out there that waits for a particular

A very white inspiration

I do love white. I need a new rug for my living space and i always gravitate to white. Problem is my darling little girl Lily loves to play in the garden and come running inside through her puppy door. But its not all Lily, i am actually very guilty for being messy. My husband hasn't quite worked out how i manage to make such a mess but none the less it is certainly a talent of mine.

I found these amazing rooms, the white and beige blend are amazing as are the rich textures... So incredibly elegant. It made me realise for me, white rooms never bore me just as i can look at wedding gowns all day- elegant, romantic, soft, timeless and incredibly beautiful. I'm in love with both....
